  • Vaginal discharge increases then normally (sign of infection or miscarriage)

  • When pain is more serious, feel weak and it happens specifically on one side (sign of ectopic pregnancy or appendicitis)

  • Visit a doctor as soon as possible -doctor will ask some questions, and will ask you to take blood test to confirm the pregnancy.

  • Start having folic acid 5mg every single day (recommended dose) - Folic acid is part of vitamin b complex group which is known to prevent the birth defects specially neural tube defects in the baby. 

  • You must know that if you are suffering form any chronic medical health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid, must be well controlled.

  • Avoid Smoking

  • No alcohol is recommended - This can cause fetal alcohol syndrome where baby could be born with mental, physical or behavioral problems.

  • No self medications (not safe) consult your doctor.


Make sure you’re eating lot of fruits and vegetables but in case of no veg. Then do not eat Raw and uncooked non veg.
